About
I was born in Chelyabinsk, Russia, but spent most of my childhood in a small village in Siberia. It was a place of quiet magic, where long winters inspired vivid stories. The dark woods of evergreen pines, mossy floors that erased all footprints, abandoned villages once filled with foragers, and remnants of Yakut religion and shamanism shaped my worldview, helping me find meaning in silence and loosen the grip of reality.
It was there that I decided to become a writer.
My journey toward that dream was long and slow. After returning to Chelyabinsk, I studied journalism at local university, worked as a reporter, and eventually moved to the United States. Here, I worked as a multimedia designer while continuing to write in my spare time. I write to explore the deeper corners of the human soul. My stories are often described as poetic and dark—a reflection of my belief that the most compelling narratives are driven by desires that may not be immediately apparent.
When I’m not writing, I’m usually reading, playing video games, or hiking near Shenandoah with my camera. I also enjoy sharing tea with friends. I believe that stories can be found in a glance, a gesture, or a single frame.
Thank you for visiting my corner of the internet. I’m glad you’re here, and I hope you find something in my work that resonates with you.
